Associate Attorney Emily Schurr focuses on Special Needs Planning and Personal Injury Consulting at Begley Law Group, helping individuals maintain their public benefits after receiving personal injury settlements or inheritances. Her dual-state license allows her to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Emily graduated summa cum laude from Rowan University and earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, where she graduated cum laude.

During her time at Rutgers Law School, she completed over 100 pro bono hours earning the Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award for Exceptional Service and the Mary Philbrook Student Public Interest Award. She was a Teaching Assistant for Estates & Trusts and Estate Planning classes, and served as a student leader of the Planning Estates Project (PEP), which prepared estate planning documents to low-income seniors.

Outside of the office, she is passionate about her animals and enjoys spending time down the shore with family and friends.
