2012 Walk Now for Autism Speaks in South Jersey – Mount Laurel, New Jersey

On the beautiful, sunny morning of May 19, 2012, the team members of Begley Law Group, P.C. joined the fight to advocate for autism awareness.  A new report released by the Centers for Disease Control finds that one in every 88 children in the United States is diagnosed with a form of autism spectrum disorder, an increase of 78% since 2002.  This prevalent disorder touches much of the population, and it is necessary to ensure that safeguards are in place for loved ones affected by autism.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks in South Jersey was held in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.  Wearing their Begley t-shirts, the attorneys and staff members gave away mugs, pens, stress balls, and stickers while conversing with families affected by autism about the importance of guardianships and special needs trusts for children on the autism spectrum.  The balls and stickers were a huge hit with all of the children (and parents too)!
